Tracking is an ancient skill; it may be our oldest form of storytelling. Tracking reveals the hidden lives and movements of the creatures we long to see and understand. And it tells us more than just what we can 'see' if we spend some time learning tracker's secrets! And learning tracker's tricks! Plan to join us at Oxbow Park, where the forest a nearby treasure filled with forest, river, wildlife, and lots of tracks!
Be sure to include friends and family members to share the exploration, activities, and just plain fun in a landscape you can return to again and again. Led by volunteer naturalists Jan Shannon and Suzan Hill, who will guide you in this Great Escape into Nature! Please register now to let us know you are coming so we can prepare for our time together.
$20 per person suggested donation, open to kids over age 12. *Please note: There is a $5 per car entry fee, so carpooling is encouraged! NO PETS are allowed in the park -- not even in your car. (It makes the tracking easier too!)
