Falling Into the World: Excursion #3 of the Kinship in Nature (KIN) Immersion Program
This journey into the heart of the autumn season is bound to be filled with wonder and awe. The great fascination humans have with the waters of life will be our constant touchstone. Allured by the movement of the river, drawn close to the richness of the estuary, and magnetized by the power of the ocean, we may well be mesmerized by the watery essence of our own bodies.
What does it mean to hold it all? To intuit the interconnected relationship we have with the sea creatures outside of our vision and the land creatures familiar to us? And what of the stars and the galaxy that are constant and mostly unseen?
Themes of this immersion include:
- Deep presence
- Befriending the dark
- Creating an inspired future
- Numinous experience, spirit, and soul
- Communion with all beings, seen and unseen
- The nature of the cosmos and our place within it
Plan your camp arrival anytime after 3 pm at Cape Disappointment State Park; be ready for first circle up at 5:30.
KIN participants will be automatically registered for this experience. This excursion is also available as a stand-alone immersive weekend. Registration for AUTUMN CAMP as a stand-alone opens September 1st.
